The Monk reached out a hand as the woman blacked out, but quickly took it back for his own sake. The male Drow didn’t seem to like him much. Yazuri wanted to help this girl, but knew he couldn’t because his water element would only bring more coldness to her innocent body while outside.
"You should pay more attention, man from the east, before blundering into other peoples business..."
Yazuri waited for the man to leave before bowing his head, looking down at the bag of gold the girl had dropped after fainting. She really could use the money, if only they could meet at least once more. Hopefully she would make good use or sell with his jacket; it was made in good quality.
The monk bent his knees, leaning down to receive his gold. He eyed the tavern for a moment before proceeding inside, finding himself a nice empty table. Many of the commoners to this town gave him odd stares. What was with people and creatures in this area? None of them seemed to welcome anyone. Yazuri was already starting to feel home sick from missing the monastery.

The drow nodded reluctantly and some what in suprise at the male elf. She watched him return to the tavern, the woman in his arms, and wondered what she had just gotten herself into.
A hell of a lot of trouble, thats what you got yourself into, welp! Her demon counterpart snarled angrily in her head.
Just shut up...

Her limp body was easy to carry about, head bobbing agianst Lyiat's shoulder as she was jostled. The long hair fell in her face, wings dragging on the ground and making walking with her in arm difficult. Particularly if one was mindful of tearing out feathers by mistake.

He ignored the stares he got, climbing up the stairs silently, being mindful of the fae's wings. A fae... a fae! How the hell did happen? She was a human, wasn't she? Gods above... if she finds out... Lyiat bit his own lip, his fangs protuding over it just so slightly. He came to their room, opening the door and stepping inside. He layed the girl down on the bed before sitting down heavely on a chair, gazing at her.
"Nay... she shant find out... no one can..." He whispered slightly before letting out a soft sigh.

A gentle knock sounded from outside the room, followed by feet shuffling nervously as the person outside waited to be allowed inside.
The drow had no idea what the elf could want with her. True, she got involved when she shouldn't have but should that...wait. She grimaced.
I KNEW i should have taken that phrase more seriously... And what one is that? Byakos grating purr asked her. The one about 'Curiosity killing the cat'? The black elf snorted irritatedly. Yeah. That one.

Kesai lay out across the bed, and it wasn't too long before she woke - eyes blinking open to stare at nothing, trying to comprehend what was going on. "Where...?" the question was faint and she struggled for a moment to sit up. Why was she here? Hadn't she gone outside? Her head hurt and her wings itched... Wings?! Panic flooded her veins and she sat up bolt upright and her eyes went wide. Oh no. Wings. She'd.. falling back, the room spun around her and she lifted a hand, groaning. f**k. She'd... her cover was entirely blown.
An odd mix of human and fae, she was wholely visible as a halfbreed.

Lyiat was standing at the door, opening it to let the Drow inside. He nodded to her, stepping aside to let her in. "'Quel undome, Mori'quessir." He said with a smile. "Please ta-"
It was then Kesai woke. He turned around to see her put a hand to her head and groan. The vampire moved quickly to the side of the bed, looking her over worriedly. "Are you hurt? Kesai?"

She stifened as the door swung open and the elf admitted her to the room. He silver eyes were immidiently drawn to the halfbreed lying on the bed, attempting to wake up. Whe the male walked hurriedly towards the bed, she moved inside the room, silently shutting the door behind her.

Her head shook and she ran a hand through her hair, sending the stuff everywhere, some strands falling in her face, "No, I'm fine." Her feet were raw and still bloody - but beyond the lacerations there, she was uninjured. "What happened?" she wasn't going to discuss her wings and ears right now - not unless pushed. She didn't want to talk about it. A frown.

He sat down at the edge of the bed, making sure to place his hands on his lap. His eyes lingered on the frown for a moment before moving back to her eyes. "A monk came up to us and you passed out... from clastrophobia, if I had to guess... Regaurdless, I brought you back to our room. Your safe here."
Lyiat smiled a small bit before looking up at the drow. "I don't recall catching your name, Mori'quessir."

The drow jumped in suprise at the question. "Its Azilie." She bowed, trying to be as respectful as she could be. She could already tell that the other elf was older than her by the way he carried himself. She glanced at the Fae, not to sure how to respond to something she had never seen before.

If she'd had ears like a cat, they'd be flat against her head. "Oh." She didn't have much else to say about that. Her head turned and she looked at the drow curiously, wondering who she was and what her purpose here was. Suspicious by both nature and necessity, it was in her blood to be nervous around people she didn't know - and even those she did didn't always feel fully comfortable around.
Folding her wings close, she played with the glossy feathers - not unlike the feathers of a crow or some other large bird. Some of the feathers were tattered, broken, or missing - those that she could repair, she did. Staying silent, she let her gaze drop from the drow to her fingers' work in maintaining her pinions.

He nodded slightly. "It is nice to meet you, Azilie..." He smiled slightly, a small glow shimmering about his eyes as her looked her slowly up and down. His gaze stopped just over her shoulder, bringing a small smirk to his face. A demon? He could see the creature, peeking out from the drow's body. His Astral Sight never failed him. " I would, however, also like to know what your friend's name is..."

Azilie froze in shock. He...HOW?! Her eyes darted over her shoulder at the air between her and the door way. There was no way he should be able to see the Demon Cat.
I warned you but you didn't listen. Byako snapped angrily at her. You might as well answer his question welp. Hiding this kind of information from a vampire could cost you just as much as it would if I could actually strike you right now.
Azilie paled slightly before clearing her throat. "His name is Byako. A lesser Wind Lord from the Demon Plane." she frowned as she said it, almost as if she was being forced to swallow something bitter.

She wasn't thinking about the others, their conversation, or what was going on there. Kesai was more focused on not having a heart attack. The hands left her feathers and she moved off the bed, standing up to walk over to the window, staring out through the panes of glass at the dirty snow beneath. The sky was dark and the wind was high, small flakes beginning to drift downwards.
Why couldn't things have been easy? Just once! She seemed to always be the one making stupid mistakes.
