His mind raced for a moment as the fae-human stepped out the door into the bitter cold. He glaired at the bartender for a moment longer, then turned on his heel and made after the girl. "Kesai! Hey, Kesai! Wait a moment!" He shouted after her, jogging to catch up.

Yazuri traveled to the land of Egandin, the place he decided to take his first trip. The city was very populated and the oriental man was very unused to such crowds. It made the monk feel a little uneasy actually, even though he was trained to always remain calm. His face would remain straight as he walked amongst himself, handling his baby bonsai tree.
Minutes later he was harshly bumped and pushed against the wall. “Look what we got here guys! A human without a wrist band! Your in troubles now pal!”
Yazuri dropped his plant from the impact and the clay pot shattered like glass. The monk looked down at the wounded plant and frowned, his eyes slowly reaching the eyes of this creature that rudely, and unexpectedly, assaulted him.
“Not ah talker eh!?” The creature, who thought he was the big and bad, turned to his group of friends. “We all know how to get a human to talk.” The man pulled out a switch and jabbed in to do the man harm, most likely to get him to cry and whimper, but there was quite the opposite reaction.
Yazuri, with no facial expression, quickly snatched his arm, snapping it at the elbow as he turned to his side. A swift knee would come to meet the creature’s torso shortly after his arm was broken. Now the creature was the one whimpering, not the monk, it looked like they messed with the wrong man today.
“Go” Yazuri warned in his accent “and leave me be!”
The two creatures looked at one another a little stunned, but didn’t accept the fact that a human took down a creature in the matter of seconds. They both at the same time went in for right hooks. Yazuri just wished that he could be left alone, but it looked to him as if it wasn’t going to happen. With great agility, he ducked under the attack and they both nailed each other right in the face. They took a stab back holding their noses before Yazuri send both of his fists into each man’s stomach. By the force of his arms, they quickly fell frontward just to meet his knees as he jumped upward nailing them. They both flew backwards into the wall and fell on their rumps out cold.

The monk’s attention was now quickly on his plant as if it was a wounded brother. Actually, he thought of this plant his brother, just like all of the other ones at his monastery. Grabbing the tree no bigger then six inches high, he placed a small rag around it, which he ripped from one of the creature’s clothing. Water escaped Yazuri’s fingers and soaked the cloth with nice cool water. That would do the bonsai well until he could find or make him a new pot.
His brown eyes glanced around before he proceeded on his way. Many people were looking at him very oddly. He truly wished not to cause a scene and be a good source entertainment to the public; he just didn’t want to be bothered with. Every skill he performed was in self defense, no code was broken, and he fought with empty hands.
The monk slowly paced himself as he went back to handling his tree. Plants meant the world to him and he granted them much respect. They say in the monastery you gain your strength from the spirits of plants and animals. One plant dead, means one less spirit to become one with you, therefore you are weakened without the source. In the sacred scroll of The Open Fist, they wrote “Plants are your greatest alley. They can survive harsh weathers and heal dangerous wounds. They may not speak to you as we do, but they connect to your spirit, granting you chi of great numbers. The plant will always beat a human in friendship, for they have not the will to back stab you. They are your dependable partner and your devoted friend.”

The drow watched the fae leave the tavern, slightly stunned by her sudden appearence outside. She put a hand gently on her shoulder.
"You do realize being out here is no worse than being in there, right?" The dark elf smiled at her, white teeth a sharp contrast to her dark skin. "You at least have an allie willing to help you. Why run from that?"
Her silver eyes peered at the faes green orbs, questioningly, almost with childlike innocence. To her it was a valid question since she had no allies whatsoever.

The crashing and whimpering in the tavern behind her startled her as she took the step into the cold snow, and then the voice and the hand made her jump a foot or so in the air. Then Lyiat called after her. Allies? No, she had no real allies, she just... it took her a few minutes to catch her breath after all the excitement. "I have no allies in either place, just..." the cold robbed her of her breath for a moment and she curled her arms around her, trying to ward off the chill.
She really did look out of sorts and dreadfully confused - but who could blame her?

Lyiat came up to the pair, attempting to skid to a stop. The snow, however, by some trick of the dieties, spited him and made it so he just so happened to stop on ice. Instead of ceasing motion, the vampire's feet flew out from under him, sending him up into the air to land hard on his rear. "OW!"
He groaned softly before getting back up, glairing at the spot he had fallen on. "... Danmed snow..." he muttered before looking back at Kesai, then the Drow. He gave the Dark Elf a curt nod before facing the Fae. "Where are you going, Kesai?"

The drow glanced at his fumble and fall and managed to hold back a snicker. Instead, she gave him a curt nod of her own and backed away from the Fae. "If you didn't have any allies, then whats he?" The dark elf pointed at the vampire who sat despondantly on his rear end on a patch of ice. She rose an eyebrow at the woman.

As Yazrui walked on, he caught glimpse of some kind of drama going on not far from the public tavern. His eyes scanned everyone and the drow seemed to want something from the girl. Was she just like those other creatures that attacked him earlier? His legs sent him faster as they quickened their pace and widened their stride.
“Let her go!” he warned to the dark skinned creature with a calm, but stern tone. His eyes looked into the drow’s eyes before they retreated onto the cold girl. “Take this.” He told her, taking off his top half of his uniform, handing it to her. The red cloth would be nice and warm from his previous body heat.
Yazuri wasn’t one hundred percent sure if the woman was truly a threat, so he just waited patiently for her reply. If she did pose to a threat, he would protect the woman from any harm. “Bully someone your own kind!” He spoke very fast and was hard to understand at times because of his heavy foreign accent.

The small woman was surrounded by people, all talking to her and touching her and talking to each other all at once. She blindly accepted the offered shirt/gi top or whatever it was and stood very still. Her head had turned when the vampire fell on his ass and she would've offered to help him up if the monk hadn't come up and the drow hadn't continued talking. "I don't know what he is or where he stands or who any of you are," her voice was quiet as she looked about, feeling very much crowded and very timid. A hand lifted and she ran it through her tangled hair, sending it flying in all directions.
She'd gone from alone, cold and in pain to cold, in pain, and surrounded. It had been a long time since she'd actually had much human contact and then suddenly there was a lot of it all at once. It was overwhelming and she paled. Perhaps she was about to faint or something? Her breathing hitched and she swayed slightly, hugging herself as she tried to breathe slowly.

Lyiat blinked slightly at the Monk, wondering where the hell he had come from. Further more, why was he throwing himself into the situation? No one was trying to hurt anyone. The Elf stared at the monk for a moment before he noticed Kesai wavering on her feet, close to collapse. "Kesai!"
He rushed forward just in time, making a cradle of his arms to catch the girl, holding her head close to his body with one arm and supporting her legs with the other. He stepped back away from the monk, mumbling "Mankoi lle uma tanya?", locking eyes with the man.

"Kesai!"
Yazuri turned to what must have been the girl he was protecting. Was she fainting? Did the cold get too rough on her? What was going on? The other dark elf caught her in his arms. Maybe this was a misunderstanding; he thought that they were trying to hurt her. These two drow were friends to her. So there truly was peace and friendship forming between Man and Creature. This was good, all good, but now the monk must explain himself.
That’s when the male elf said something, in which must have been his native tongue, for Yazuri didn’t really understand him. He slightly tilted his head. “I do not understand.” Glancing at the two he continued. “I am sorry for misjudging you too quickly. I am Sorry.. I thought girl was in danger.”
Yazuri nodded with respect, but kept eye contact on them at all times. “Forgive me.” The monk turned to Kesai, giving her his pouch of gold. “Please, buy warm clothes.”

The drow jerked away from the monk as if burned. She dropped the hood of her cloak, allowing her face to be seen clearly, along with the somewhat hurt expression she wore. "I wasn't trying to hurt her, monk." She looked at him squarely until the Fae dropped into the vampires arms. SHe froze in shock.

Yazuri looked to the female elf and nodded. “Once again. Forgive me.” He had not meant to offend her at all; he just came in at the wrong moment, being unsure of what exactly was going. He still wasn’t quite sure, but he knew they wouldn’t hurt her. “I am Yazuri Takasoku, one of the monks of are monastery.”
It was very easy to tell that the man was a monk. The first sign was that his head was completely shaven, second was his uniform, not many people walked around dressed like that. Thirdly, you could tell he was religious because he had some kind of sacred amulet across his neck. Clouds smoked from his mouth as he exhaled the cold air. “You help girl?” he asked nicely, trying to get on their good side.

She faltered and then blacked out - the stress finally overwhelming her. Knees turned to water and she crumpled against Lyiat, the slender form weighing little more than a leaf would under similar circumstances. The illusions that hid the ears and wings from view flickered and then faded without her consciousness to keep them in place.

He looked down at her with a small sigh before re-adjusting his hold on her "Quel kaima, Kesai..." he whispered softly before looking up at the monk, frowning. "You should pay more attention, man from the east, before blundering into other peoples buisness..." He looked evenly at him before turning, walking back to the Inn. "... Drow, I would like to speak to you... in privet, preferably. Come to room four, if you would." With that, he stepped through the doorway, vanishing into the building.
