A lot of conversation had gone on during the trip to Moraine, but Iestyn had reserved her right not to say who she was until they were safely in the city and away from possible prying ears. Instead she just smiled at the question and said it was a secret.
Once in the city Iestyn took to walk her horse. She also took to buying random items from stalls they passed. Clothing, food, everything. She liked shopping as girly and out of character as that might have seemed for her. She even picked out some armor and normal clothing items for the two gladiators with her.
Mr. Albere had left their company at the edge of town, but Iestyn really didn't need him for anything. He accompanied her for the pomp and circumstance. If she needed him for anything it was to run stupid little chores she didn't want to do or talk to people she didn't want to talk to - like that demon man. She could do that herself if she had to though. So it was nothing important.
They finally arrived at a small inn that Iestyn always stayed at. She gave her horse to the same stable hand as always and headed inside to rent a room. She ended up with a suite since she wasn't alone this time around. She then had everything she bought brought up and diner ordered for three.
"Would you two like to wash up or eat first?" She asked, turning to the gladiators.

Brutus just smiled at her weakly as she told him her name was secret. There must have been some reason for it, so he did not question her authority. Leyroy ran behind them, his legs were small and hard to keep up, but didn’t complain once. You could just hear him puffing in the background every now and then.
When they stopped at a few stalls, the two watched surprised as she shopped around, she was acting awfully girly for being a warrior and all. Leyroy looked up at Brutus and Brutus looked down at him with a smirk, while having his arms crossed. She was shopping for the two of them, would they need to pay her back? Brutus would if he ever got his hands on some money. She even bought hem some armor and surprise.
Why was this creature not mistreating them? If only Pandora could be here to witness such things, maybe his view on them would slowly start to change, because it sure was for Brutus.
They then proceeded on with their march, finally making their destination when a few hours had passed.
"Would you two like to wash up or eat first?"
The two men looked at one another then to their master. There bodies were covered in blood and dirt. “Wash first”

"Wash first."
Iestyn nodded. "Very well. Mayford - send up Netis to help these boys with grooming." She smiled at the concierge and then headed up with the two gladiators to show them the room and the bathroom.
When she had gotten them situated and Netis had come up to help them she went to her room and changed out of her traveling clothes for the evening. They were too coarse and uncomfortable. They'd be in town for a while while she got things settled with their placement and what was expected of them. So she might as well be relaxing when she had the chance.
She changed into leggings and a short wrap dress resembling a kimono (think like the thing in her sig). She then lounged on a couch and attempted to get a short nap in before the boys were finished and ready to eat. She'd been on the road visiting arenas for weeks. And the past few days she had travelled without stopping because she heard the arena at Algrippe would be visiting another arena and not all of the fighters would be there much longer.
She didn't feel like chasing after people or waiting. So she wanted to get there before they left. Thus she had no time to dally. She had to move swiftly. Which she managed to do... and then she didn't even put any thought into who she chose. Oh well.

The two men were taken to the bathing area. Smiling, they grabbed their towels and started to get undressed. They were excited to actually get to bathe in hot steaming what. Brutus was the first to get into the hot water. He let out a pleasuring sigh, it felt absolutely great.
Once Leyroy was undressed, he dove for the tub. One of the maids just watched them with the most awkward face. Brutus finally got edgy. “Um..there a problem?”
“Theres more then one tub..”
Brutus looked at Leyroy, then to all the other tubs. “oh..” Slowly feeling very embarrassed, he got out of the tub and went to the next one. Getting in it, he looked to the made. “um..thanks.”
As she left, Leyroy looked to Bruno confused. “That was odd Brute..”
Brutus looked at his surroundings with raised eyebrows. “Tell me about it…”
After soaking in the water for awhile, they finished themselves up and dried off. Getting dressed, they walked back to where the woman would be. She was sleeping. Leyroy paused and looked at Brutus for some kind of answer. All he got was a shrug. The little man hesitated moment before he pointed out his finger and poked her softly in the foot. “master.. uh..we are done. We go eat, no?”

A soft poke woke Iestyn. She pulled out a dagger from no where and had it at Leyroy's throat in a flash. When she noticed it was him though she sighed and tucked the dagger back away. She rubbed her eyes and yawned before running her fingers through her hair and standing up.
"Uh, yeah. We'll go eat now. Come on." She said, heading for the door and opening it for them. Once they were out she shut the door behind her and moved to the front again to lead them downstairs to the dining area to eat. "Um, I'm not sure what you guys like, so order what you will. I'll have a water, thanks." She said to the waiter. The waiter nodded and signaled a girl to bring over a water quickly.
When she got it Iestyn downed half the glass and then sipped on the rest. "Anything to eat, miss?" Iestyn looked over the menu and then shook her head. "No, thank you. Not at this moment." The waiter nodded and then turned back to the men for their orders. "Order whatever you want, I have more than enough money to pay for it."
She waved her hand nonchalantly at them. She did too. She had quite the bank account. She did a lot of work and her employer paid well, paid for everything really. It was nice. It also meant nothing could be traced back to her because it wasn't her money she was spending. There was no record of Iestyn Belzir anywhere except this quaint little home in Emue that she owned. No one knew why it was always empty. Assumed she travelled a lot. Which she did.
Just not for the same reason's they thought. They thought she was a sweet young girl who liked to shop and spend her parent's money that was left to her. Not some warrior who went around fighting and gathering fighters and getting herself into shady business. Lots of shady business.

Leyroy gulped as the dagger was immediately at his throat, he had not seen such a reaction coming from her. Brutus just took a step back being glad he wasn’t in the little guy’s situation. Of course she was only alarmed and took the dagger from his throat. “Sorry master.. me did not mean to frighten you..”
Brutus followed the woman to the dining area. His eyes looked over at everyone around him, sitting at the table, he took a menu from the waitress. “I’ll have some wine…Thank you.”
Leyroy said “Milk will be fine.. Goat milk if you have it… yeah.. I’ll have that.”
By the time the waitress would return with their drinks, Brutus was ready to order. “Yeah, I’ll have the five pound pig leg. My little buddy wants..what are they again?”
“Bananas.. you know..long yellow curved fruit…” Leyroy explained.
The waitress looked at the two before smiling and taking their order to the cooks.
Brutus placed his elbows on the table and just relaxed while he waited patiently. “So you say you’re a warrior? For whom?” asked Bruno politely “Are you some kind of guild master?”

"Guild master? Ha, no. I'm not. I would tell you who I work for - but I'm not allowed." She smiled and tilted her head. She then turned her gaze away and sipped more at her water. Her eyes scanned the room which was fairly empty. For that she was glad. Not that anyone would recognize her, but crowds just bothered her. Made her uneasy. In closed places. Without many escape routes.
Quietly she decided to introduce herself properly. "By the way, please call me Iestyn - not master. I'm not a man anyway so it'd be mistress if you were to use a word like that." She smirked as she glanced at Leyroy. She didn't really mind, she just liked teasing sometimes.
"And your names are what exactly again?" Brute... and... someone. They hadn't reffered to eachother by their full names yet she didn't think. Iestyn waved the waitress over to refill her glass and started on her second helping of fresh water. God it was nice. Cold going down and so much better tasting than the distilled stuff she had for her journey. Distilled so it wouldn't grow mold on the inside of the container hopefully.

Leyroy listened to the woman and his eyebrows dropped in confusion. His white pail eyes looked to his fingers. “Mistress…master… OH! Me so sorry mistress, Leyroy hopes he didn’t offend!”
So Iestyn was her name? Brutus had been wondering this for awhile and felt relieved to finally know her name. The man nodded with respect. “I’m Brutus De Ronheart, and this hear man is my good friend Leyroy.” Leyroy saluted the woman and let out a laugh.
Brutus never really did know why exactly Leyroy Brute (Bru-tay) , and never really took the time to ask him why, he just got used to it. The name didn’t bother him at all, so he really didn’t give it much thought.
Finally, after waiting long enough, the food arrived. Brutus quickly took the pig leg and bit a chunk of meat out of it. The meat was so good, it even had spices and sauces. Brutus never tasted food so good. It was marvelous. “Do they always serve food like this?” he asked with his mouth still cluttered with food.
The grown man would eat the leg the whole way to the bone. For once, his stomach met its limit, he now was wishing he wouldn’t have ate as much, but who cared? Leyroy enjoyed his fruit. He shook his head at Brutus. “You wouldn’t like it if I cooked you, no? So why eat the pig?”
“We gone over this before..” Was all the Brutus said as he took a drink of his wine “I eat meat. I’m a carnivore. Do you know what that is? A thing that eats meat. ..No wonder your so small..”
“Judge me by my size will you!?” Leyroy snapped and threw a fruit peel at him. “Take that you overgrown meat eater..”
Brutus laughed and took the peel from his lap, sitting it on his plate.

Iestyn watched the men eat - Brutus and Leyroy. She laughed at their comedic antics. They were a funny pair. She was glad she chose them. "They do always serve food like this." SHe said, answering Brutus' question.
Leyroy complained about Brutus eating meat. Iestyn couldn't complain. She liked meat too. Not to the extent of a carnivore, but she did enjoy it. "Well why eat vegetables? They're living too at some point right? It's the same thing sort of. Only vegetables don't make noise or really move. They breath though. Cellular respiration and all..."
She shut up and laughed at herself. Explaining biology at lunch. What a strange thing to talk about. She watched Leyroy throw the peel at Brutus and Brutus just laugh it off and put it on his plate. She smiled and held back a chuckle. "Such lively boys, aren't you? That's good. It's nice to see even though you were enslaved you can still enjoy yourselves."
She had seen a lot of enslaved people who were mentally warped. Changed. Hardened. It turned her stomach at the thought. As if war hadn't done enough damage - the repercussions after it did more. Iestyn wished she hadn't been brought into this. While people were somewhat bitter in New Engriken at least they were fairly happy too. Safe and there was no war. Prosperous, healthy.
But that wasn't enough for some people.

Leyroy was being stubborn by crossing his arms while shaking his head. “No mistress, it is not the same.. plants were put there for man to eat, not animals.” He started to rant on this big theory his people believed in.
Brutus just rolled his eyes “A golden coin for every time I’ve heard this story.
“Don’t be rude brute!” Leyroy snapped as he continued his reasoning for not eating meat. “You see, animals have spiritual powers, they can make you strong, but what use are they when their dead and eaten?”
“Leyroy…”
“See my point? You gain strength and power from animals. Everyone has their spiritual animal, wether it be a magical creature like a dragon, or something simple like a ant. The ant is always unnoticed and is great at stealth, but tends to be bullied by the other animals.”
“Leyroy…”
“BRUTE! Stop being rude!!”

Iestyn listened to Leyroy, but she couldn't exactly agree. "That's fine for humans... but I guess I don't understand since I'm one of those mystical creatures that an animal's spiritual power might be connected to."
"Plus eating an animal makes you stronger too. Protein builds muscle." Iestyn shrugged. "I see where you're coming from though. Let's just agree to disagree on this though - okay? Because I'm sorry but I'll continue to eat meat. I happen to like it. It tastes good."
She smiled sheepishly. She hoped she didn't offend him too much. It was just her personal view as his was to not eat meat. Neither one of them would change their minds so what was the use in fighting?

Leyroy shrugged “Just saying Mistress..”
Brutus just chuckled and shook his head, he tended to do this a lot toward the small man. After letting his food digest he looked to Iestyn. “So, where is are next destination, and where will we be fighting next in gladiatorial combat?” The man was wondering this for quite some time and figured he’d ask.
Leyroy seemed interested in the question, because he placed his elbows in the table and placed his jaw on the palms of his hands. “Hopefully not that old place where we just came..”
Brutus looked over at the man. “That was a given. Why would we travel so many miles to just go back?”
“Just sayin Brute..sheesh…”
“I wasn’t even… ah nevermind.”

Iestyn really did think these two were funny. They made her laugh a lot. Brutus asked where they were going and where they would fight next. "Well, we'll be heading for Elbrith next. You're probably fight there once or twice, but no death matches. Just for the sake of appearance."
She swirled the water in her cup and watched a mini tornado fade when she was done. "Eventually we'll end up in Emue. Where the land used to be called England." She said. Maybe they didn't know the human names, but it hadn't been that long. A decade or more. Some people had forgotten already though. Even those born and raised in Earth - not Olcopedia.
She couldn't believe it. It astounded her. How could people forget? She could understand not remembering the names the creatures gave them, but not remembering the names they gave those places? Unbelievable.
"There you might have to fight a death match. Just one. Just so my employer can see your skill. If he likes you - you'll be set free under certain conditions. Mainly that you help him. If he doesn't like you you will remain enslaved, but it will be to me - so you won't have to be a gladiator any longer. You'll be paid and well cared for." Iestyn shrugged. "I don't believe in treating all humans like trash when many of you were dragged into this against your will."
"Just like many innocent creatures were long ago punished for the sins of a few."

Brutus listened as he was told what he would have to do. When he heard about fighting a man and not killing him, he thought of it as a good thing, but never has been in one. “I didn’t know they actually had matches like that.” Maybe now the crowds wouldn’t cheer for kills and death, they would be happy enough by the simple fact of him defeating his opponent. “The death match will be nothing I’m not used to. That’s how we always fought. You either killed the man, or be killed yourself. That was your only option.”
Leyroy, curling his lip in a weird frown, nodded with agreement. “Sadly”
Brutus stood and pushed his chair in. He was cramping up and needed to stretch a bit. Placing his hands behind his back, he bent far back as possible, then forward. “agh.. my muscles are killing me..” He then leaned far to the side and there was a loud crumbling noise. “That hit the spot ngh!”
“So ah” Leyroy started on “Will Bruto be sharing the same room as Leyroy, or no?”

Iestyn watched Brutus stretch with an amused smile. "Wow. That was a lot of joints popping..."
Leyroy then asked if Brutus would be sharing a room with him. "Well if you don't mind - yes. If you do he can have my room. I'll sleep on the couch." She shrugged, not really caring either way.
She too stood up and discreetly stretched. "If you two want to go rest you may. Or wander the city some. I'm going to go take care of some other business I have to attend to." She turned to leave and then turned back and dug two metal bracelets out of a pouch hanging from her belt. "Wear these so people know not to touch you. You are still human afterall."
She put the bracelets down on the table and then headed out. She had some shady stuff to attend to. Weapons and magic trading type of stuff. She found herself in the streets in no time and soon after on the 'dark' side of the city. It was crawling with lowlifes, but Iestyn had to be there.
At first all eyes were on her, but soon many knew to look away. Especially the closer she got to the heart of criminal activity. She arrived at a dark oak door in the side of a grey stone wall. She knocked, waited, whispered something incoherent, and then nodded. She turned and headed toward warehouses in the south.
