He nodded slowly and stepped away from her, unhitching the clasp of his cloak and removing the garmet. Smiling softly, he extended his hand out to her, offering her the cloak. "Here, it will keep you warm on the walk there". I really don't need it anyway... he thought to himself. As she looked at the cloak, she saw that he wore black stained leather armor.

Eyes darted to the cloak, to his face - narrowing slightly - and then back to the cloak before she visibly made a decision. A slender, bony hand reached out and clutched the material, pulling it towards her. A toss and she wrapped it around herself, the garment looking like a potato sack around her fragile frame. "Thank you," the tone was a little softer - if still suspicious.

He nodded slightly before taking a quick look around the allyway, checking for any other lurkers within the darkness. Confident, now that he hadn't detected one, he begain walking back to the entrance of the allyway. He kept his pace slow, however, as to let the human keep up with him. "It's not far."

Quite able to keep up with him, she followed along behind him, a few paces back. His assertion that it wasn't far didn't tell her much. But she no less followed him and shadowed his footsteps quietly, not even knowing she ought to limp because her feet were cut and bloody.

He nodded slightly, glad she could keep up the pace enough. He stopped at the entrance, looking around slowly before he stepped out onto the sidewalk, pulling on a false, charming smile as he went along his way, casting glances over his shoulder to see if she was still there.

She was still there, though she caught the false smile and paused, not sure exactly what it was he intended to show with that. Distrust flickered and flared again, but she keept her cool. It was alright. Honest. It would be fine.
Breath misted out and she took a moment to compose herself. She'd be fine, she kept telling herself. She was just going to get warm and then... and then what? What would he want from her in return...
